<p><p><p>The Every Child a Reader (ECaR) programme was developed by a collaboration of the KPMG Charitable Trust with the Institute of Education and Government. It was supported financially by Government, a group of charitable trusts and business, and the Local Authorities and schools who part funded their own implementation. ECaR offers a layered, three-wave approach to supporting children with reading in Key Stage 1.</p><p>This is the full report of the independent evaluation of the ECaR programme - a mixed-method multi-faceted programme of research to investigate the implementation, impact and value-for-money of the intervention.</p> </p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></p>
