IFS Research Director Rachel Griffith joins Editorial Board of the Journal of Political Economy

IFS Research Director Professor Dame Rachel Griffith has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the Journal of Political Economy.

First established in 1892, the Journal of Political Economy is one of the oldest and most prestigious journals in economics and publishes ‘highly selective and widely cited studies across a range of subject areas.’

Rachel Griffith, also Professor of Economics at the University of Manchester, will join IFS International Research Fellows Greg Kaplan and Magne Mogstad as editors in 2022.

The journal describes its expansion of the editorial board as "a direct response to the tremendous growth and potential of both the journal and the field of economics", which will "help to ensure another century of economic thought leadership".
