Robert Torrens

Along with David Ricardo and Edward West, Torrens discovered the idea of diminishing returns in production.

Torrens, an Irish nationalist and military man, was drawn to London by political and publishing interests. He died in a house at 16 Craven Hill, Bayswater and is buried in Kensal Green cemetery.
