Wealth accumulation and draw down

We examine individuals’ and families’ wealth holdings and the resources they have, or are likely to have in future, to finance their retirement. The adequacy of these resources is considered in terms of the absolute level of income an individual can enjoy in retirement; we also consider the adequacy and optimality of future retirement income in terms of how that income would compare with the income received during working life. We also look at the composition of individuals’ wealth portfolios and how this might affect the conclusions drawn.
