Projections of inequality, poverty and living standards

By combining the latest available data, official macroeconomic forecasts and a model of the UK tax and benefit system, IFS researchers project changes in official measures of living standards and poverty over the medium term. This allows us to provide an accurate picture of current trends and future prospects, and an assessment of how likely it is that future targets, such as those for child poverty, will be met.
