Mariacristina De Nardi is a professor in the economics department at UCL and a senior economist and research advisor in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

 

She is also a faculty research fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her research focuses on savings, wealth inequality, social security, entrepreneurship and taxation.

 

Before joining the Chicago Fed in July 2005, she was an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota.
