Michela a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the UCL and a Research Fellow at the IFS. She is a labour economist with an interest in social inequalities. Her general fields of study include labour, education, development and applied microeconometrics. Michela's research so far has focused on the economics of education systems. She is also engaged in on-going work exploring inequalities in the labour market, with a focus on the role of non-cognitive skills in determining the gender gap in lifetime earnings.
