He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Chicago and joined IZA as a Research Fellow in September 2009.

Labor income dynamics and the insurance from taxes, transfers, and the family

In this paper, the authors use rich Norwegian population panel data to answer important questions about labour income dynamics over the life-cycle, including the relative importance of persistent shocks, transitory shocks and heterogeneous profiles.
