Booking terms

Once you have submitted your booking form and received an acknowledgment confirming your place the following terms and conditions apply. If you require funding from your university or organisation to cover the cost of the event you should ensure you receive approval for this prior to booking your place.

Full payment is required no less than 10 working days prior to the event start date and the following cancellation fees apply.

  • a)┬áRegistrations cancelled 30 days or more before the event will be refunded 100% of the fees.
  • b)┬áRegistrations cancelled less than 30 but more than 10 working days before the event, will be refunded 50% of the fees.
  • c)┬áRegistrations cancelled 10 working days or less before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
  • d)┬áRegistrants who do not attend for any reason will not be eligible for any refund and are liable for 100% of the fee.

If a participant is unable to attend an event, they may substitute another member of their institute / organisation (as long as the equivalent fee applies).

If no payment has been received, we will require full payment before the delegate can attend any other IFS or cemmap event.

Residential conferences

In case of cancellation, you will be liable for 50% of the fee if you cancel less than two months but more than 30 working days (6 weeks) before the event. Any cancellation less than 30 working days (6 weeks) before the event will be liable for the full fee. By submitting this booking for you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
