IFS Green Budget 2014

In February 2014 the IFS Green Budget will analyse the issues and challenges facing Chancellor George Osborne as he prepares for the government’s Budget in March.

The areas covered by IFS researchers will include:

  • The outlook for the public finances
  • The squeeze on household living standards and possible policy responses
  • Policies aimed at stimulating the housing market
  • Childcare policy
  • Business rates

Oxford Economics analysts will provide analysis of the outlook for the global and UK economies.

The IFS Green Budget 2014 is funded by the Nuffield Foundation, with support from the ESRC through the Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at IFS.
