<p><p>The IFS Green Budget 2011 will analyse the issues and challenges facing Chancellor George Osborne as he prepares for the coalition Government's spring Budget. It will be produced in collaboration with Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth and will be launched at the British Museum on 2nd February 2011.</p> </p><p><p>IFS researchers will examine the outlook for the public finances, assess a number of the key issues relating to the planned public spending cuts and discuss possible decisions on taxation. Barclays analysts will look at the outlook for the macro-economy, and the implications for markets.</p> </p><p><p><b>Speakers include:</b> Michael Dicks (Managing Director and Head of Research at Barclays Wealth), Carl Emmerson (Deputy Director, IFS), Simon Hayes (Chief UK Economist at Barclays Capital) and Paul Johnson (Director, IFS). </p> </p><p><p>Places at this conference are limited.
