The prolonged period of squeezed living standards, and the changing nature of poverty, has led to the problem of low pay - and how best to address it - increasingly dominating the domestic policy agenda. This event will present the highlights from a programme of IFS research, supported by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, on poverty and low income.
IFS researchers will set out the latest evidence, and the event will include a panel discussion focussing on the big challenges for policy.
The programme for the event will be:
08:30 - 09:00: Registration and refreshments
09:00 - 12:00: Presentations followed by Q&A
