Attila Lindner, a Research Associate at the IFS, has co-written the lead paper in The American Economic Review August 2019 edition. Called ‘Who pays the minimum wage?’ the paper – written with Peter Harasztosi - provides a comprehensive assessment of the margins along which firms responded to a large and persistent minimum wage increase in Hungary.

The journal, published by the American Economic Association and established in 1911, is one of the oldest economics journals in the US and one of the most respected.
