This project initially involves simulating the effects of various ways of implementing a flat tax in the UK, with a particular focus on the possibility of bringing tax credits within a flat tax system, in work funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
Later work will involve evaluating the arguments for and against introducing a flat tax in the UK.
