This project evaluates the government's Sure Start
Neighbourhood Nurseries programme.
The initiative is about providing high quality childcare places at the same time as being an integral part of neighbourhood regeneration programmes. Neighbourhood Nurseries work closely with other local provision to offer a wider range of innovative services, including family learning. The research sets out to evaluate the initiative's success in achieving its labour market objectives.
