IFS contacts: Rachel Griffith and Laura Abramovsky

Changes in technology, especially information and communication technologies, and globalisation are leading to changes in the way that firms organise themselves. IFS research in this area examines trends in specialization, outsourcing and offshoring in the UK, and what drives firms' decisions to outsource and offshore activities.
