This research aims to investigate the input of firms' training and resource policies on economic performance. We match firm accounts data to both a special survey on training and IFS industry data on training. We will estimate econometric models of productivity, profitability and financial success. The exploratory variables will include both firms own training efforts and the efforts of other firms on the economy
