In this project we study alternative ways of preventing and controlling Malaria in different countries in sub-saharan Africa. Alternative programs include indoor residual spraying, incentives for community activities in source reduction, net and drug distribution through the public and private sector, education campaigns, and home visitation by community health workers. Outcome of interest include not only health status of children and adults, but also labor market outcomes, and the adoption of preventive behaviour by households (net use, health seeking behaviour).
