This project's ultimate aim is to estimate the impact of the recent rises in food prices on the welfare of poor families in rural Mexico. In order to do this, the data on food consumption in the Progressa/Opportunades datasets has been carefully cleaned and a QUAIDs demand system shall be estimated.
