The InterventionEmpleo en Acción is one of three programmes run by the Colombian government as part of the RAS (Red de Apoyo Social or Social Support Network) and is financed by a loan from the World Bank and the IADB. The programme provides temporary employment for poor, unemployed, low-skilled workers by employing them in labour-intensive social and economic investment projects, such as school expansion and road repairs. The EvaluationThe data collection started in December 2002. Three waves of data were collected: a baseline, one while the projects were in operation, and a third one between six months and a year of the completion of the projects. The datasets, questionnaires and documentation relating to this evaluation are available online. Search |
