Impact evaluation of the subsidised health insurance scheme in Colombia
The subsidised health insurance scheme in Colombia represents an early example of a market-based approach for providing health insurance for the poor. Our research will investigate how this health insurance scheme has influenced health, health care use, and health care spending among poor Colombians. We will also investigate how the subsidized health insurance scheme has altered the allocation of household resources and how it has influenced consumption smoothing over time.
