Joint work with researchers at the Centre for New and Emerging Markets at London Business School will collect new evidence on the determinants and effects of ICT adoption by firms in Brazil and India. The project involves surveys of 500 firms in each country, carried out in collaboration with researchers at the University of Sao Paulo and the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. Key questions include the impact of ICT adoption on productivity performance, wages and employment, and the complementary role of management practices and organisational change.
