The objective of this project is to evaluate the Pathways to Work pilot scheme of reforms to incapacity benefits. IFS is part of a consortium with the Policy Studies Institute, the National Centre for Social Research, and Mathematica Consultants Inc. for this work, which involves a quantitative analysis of the impact of the reforms to incapacity benefits which are aimed at moving individuals off benefits and into paid work.
