Jonathan joined the Institute in 2011. His main interests are in studying labour supply and the labour market. He has worked on the effect of raising the state pension age on employment of older workers, the performance of British living standards since the recession and the returns to mathematics and literacy skills in the labour market. More recent work focusses on understanding the labour market in the public sector, including understanding the occupational mobility of public sector workers.
