Helen is a senior research economist in the productivity and innovation research sector. She joined the Institute in 2007.

Broadly, Helen's research focuses on innovation, firm behaviour and corporate taxes. Her current research looks at the affect of corporate taxes on where firms chose to locate intellectual property and considers issues surrounding tax competition between European governments. Other projects focus on the extent to which firms are locating their innovative activity abroad, including to emerging economies, and the factors which drive this trend.
