Ali is a Senior Research Economist in the Education, Employment and Evaluation sector. He is currently working on a project for the charity Help The Aged, simulating what pensioner poverty will look like over the next ten years and assessing what policies could alleviate it. He is also working on a project attempting to untangle the relationship between socioeconomic status and health among the over-50's.
