Emma is Head of Communications at IFS. She is responsible for the dissemination of research findings to academic and policy audiences. This includes managing the marketing and design of IFS publications and the website, organisation of and recruitment to the corporate membership scheme, and publicity and the press office. She studied at Cambridge and London universities then worked in academic reference for Macmillan Publishers, before joining IFS as Marketing and Publicity Officer in 1998. She has been External Relations Manager since 2001.
