Mayssun joined the IFS in 2008 as a post-doctoral fellow. She received her MSc in Economics from the University of Barcelona and she is expected to receive her PhD from the European University Institute (EUI), Florence. Her main research interests include applied microeconometrics and labor economics. Her recent work focuses on the measurement of latent attitudes and their effects on labor market outcomes and social behaviour. She is currently studying the role of education in attitudes towards conflict resolution and the role of cognitive and non cognitive skills in the wage distribution.
