Murtaza is a Research Economist in the Investment and Finance Sector and the Centre for the Evaluation of Development Policies (EDePo). He joined the IFS in October 2002. His research interests include the econometric modelling of company investment and the evaluation of public policy in developing countries. Before joining the IFS, Murtaza worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Human Development Centre (HDC) in Islamabad. He is also a PhD student at Nuffield College, Oxford.
