Mike Brewer is to direct the ‘Programme Evaluation for Policy Analysis’ (PEPA), a research ‘node’ funded by the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) and hosted at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. This programme will make globally significant contributions to programme evaluation techniques, and a step change in the way that experiments are designed, evaluations are commissioned, and evaluations undertaken in the UK. This node will be launched in the autumn 2011.
