Professor Richard Blundell has been appointed by the Provost to the "David Ricardo Chair of Political Economy" a new UCL research chair attached to the Department of Economics. This is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Research, to the College and to the Profession at large.
Richard is also becoming President of the Econometric Society as of January 1st.
