Richard Blundell, IFS research director and director of the ESRC Centre for Public Policy at IFS, is being awarded the annual prize by the Forschungsinstitut zur Zukunft der Arbeit (IZA) in Bonn. The prize was awarded for Richard's pioneering work on labour markets and policy reform.
In his work on labour market effects of changes to the tax system and on income inequality, the IZA said that the combination of incisive data analysis and apposite recommendations for policy reforms "set an example to researchers across the world". |
