IFS researcher David Phillips made a presentation to World Bank economists on the IFS's work on the distributional and behavioural impacts of taxes and benefits in the UK and other countries. The IFS has been working with the Bank on improving the capacity for the quantitative analysis of tax and benefits in emerging economies.
