On Tuesday 3rd May 2011 Lord Freud announced to Parliament that IFS is to be part of a consortium that will evaluate the initial impact on both landlords and claimants of the coalition Government's reforms to the Local Housing Allowance. This consortium will be led by CRESR at Sheffield Hallam University and will also involve Ipsos MORI and Professor Peter Kemp of the Oxford Institute of Social Policy.
