 Shape restrictions in econometrics (joint with Northwestern University)
Economic theory rarely provides a parametric specification for an econometric model, but it often provides shape restrictions such as monotonicity or convexity. This conference will explore the uses of shape restrictions in identification and estimation of parametric and semiparametric econometric models and in hypothesis testing. This conference is jointly organised by cemmap and Northwestern University Econometrics Research Centre.
