<p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p>The Institute for Fiscal Studies is pleased to announce that its 2010 Green Budget will be produced for the first time in collaboration with Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth. It will be launched at the British Museum on 3rd February 2010.</p><p>The Green Budget will focus on the policy challenges confronting the Chancellor of the Exchequer in what is likely to be the last Budget before the General Election. IFS researchers will examine the outlook for the public finances and possible decisions on tax and spending. Barclays analysts will look at the outlook for the macro-economy, and the implications for markets.</p><b>Speakers include:</b> Robert Chote (Director, IFS), Michael Dicks (Managing Director and Head of Research at Barclays Wealth), Carl Emmerson (Deputy Director, IFS) and Simon Hayes (Chief UK Economist at Barclays Capital).</p><p>Places at this conference are limited.
