Econometric analysis of scanner data
An IFS / cemmap / JAE conference organised by Rachel Griffith (IFS and UCL), Jerry Hausman (MIT) and Lars Nesheim (cemmap and UCL). Participation in this event is free of charge but is by invitation only, if you would like to attend please contact Bonnie Brimstone. Large scale data on household purchasing behaviour are now widely available in many countries. These data are collected by market research firms and contain information on prices and quantities purchased, along with detailed product and household characteristics. They are increasingly being used by social scientists, and open up many new avenues of research as well as presenting new challenges. This conference will bring together academics from the UK, US and Europe to discuss the latest research. Please click here for full delegate information and details on how to book your place.
If you would like to book a place or have any queries about this event, please contact Bonnie Brimstone
