Mirrlees review: special session of the 63rd annual congress of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF)
The Mirrlees Review was the subject of a Special Session of the 63rd Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF), held at the University of Warwick from 27th to 30th August 2007.
The session was chaired by Tim Besley, one of the editors of the Review. Presentations were given by Mike Devereux on Taxing Corporate Income, by Peter Birch Sorensen on International Capital Taxation, and by Stephen Smith both on VAT and Excises and on Environmental Taxation, followed by discussion from the floor.
