ESRC/HMRC public economics conference
The organising committee of Public Economics UK (PEUK) invites you to submit a paper or express your interest in attending this year's first Public Economics Conference, to be held on the 14-15th June 2007 at the University of Leicester. Submissions are invited in any area of public economics and public policy. Graduate students are warmly encouraged to apply. All submissions should be in PDF format and reach Hamish Low by May 1st. In addition to academic presentations, the program will include a panel discussion on the topic "The optimal size of the public sector" by Tim Besley (LSE and MPC), Torben Andersen (Aarhus) and Philip Booth (IEA). If you wish to participate please email Eve Kilbourne including details of any dietary requirements and whether you need accommodation. We will pay for accommodation and food. In addition UK travel expenses (up to 50 pounds for rail fares) will be covered for all participants. Places at this meeting are available on a first come first served basis.
