This study examines the effect of a typical Anne Frank Scotland project on White-British 11 and 12 year olds.
Empowering Young People Pilots was an initiative to make funds available so that the most disadvantaged young people could access positive activities. It was part of the ten year strategy for positive youth activities launched in 2007.
The Youth Opportunity Fund and the Youth Capital Fund were established in 2006 with the aim of funding positive activities for young people across all local authorities.

'It's not OK!' is a group of violence-prevention interventions which aim to change young people's attitudes towards key issues such as alcohol use, racism, homophobic violence, arson and other anti-social behaviour, abusive relationships and guns and gangs.
The strengthening families programme 10-14 (UK) is an intervention which aims to improve the 'family competency' of young people and their parents, as well as reduce the risk factors associated with substance use and other problem behaviours.
