The IFS is looking to recruit an Events and Marketing intern, to join a busy and expanding Communications team.
The internship is for a 6-month period, starting no later than Friday 15 March 2013. The successful candidate will administer a wide range of events for the Institute and assist with logging and managing marketing contacts on our in-house database. Day-to-day activities will vary and might include adding events to the IFS website, sending marketing emails and logging delegates to our in-house database or assisting with pre and onsite event co-ordination such as registration, catering and AV. In addition, the Events and Marketing Administrator will assist the Head of Public Relations with preparing data for migration to a new contacts database, due to go live in 2013, and will also help with other marketing activities such as the production of leaflets and posters. This is a good opportunity to gain events and marketing administration experience at a high-profile, professional and friendly not-for-profit organisation. Key responsibilities are to:
