Michel Azulai is a Research Associate working with researchers on the TAXDEV programme. He works on development economics, public economics and political economy. More specifically, his research combines reduced form quasi-experimental methods and structural models to understand the effects of public goods provision in developing countries, the effects of policies aimed at improving State effectiveness in developing countries, and how to design institutions while accounting for politicians' incentives in the implementation of public policy.
